I wouldn't go that far...their backup big men are still Armstrong and Ely...
They should now look to shop Julian Wright for a backup PF.

Re: Rockets sending Wells to Hornets?
Adelman probably played a role in this, he probably wanted Bobby J back.

Re: Rockets sending Wells to Hornets?
I wouldn't do Bonzi for Bobby straight up, much less Mike James too.

James was redundant and he was overpaid.I really like Brooks, especially for where they drafted him.

Re: Rockets sending Wells to Hornets?
I would agree if they weren't taking another Mike James type back in Jackson. He must have a shorter contract or something, I'll have to look it up.

Re: Rockets sending Wells to Hornets?
Jackson has 1 yr left on his deal after this season
James has next yr, and a player option after that.

Yahoo made it sound like this was only waiting for league approval.ESPN.com doesn't.Adds the obvious fact that NO wants to dump Butler, but since he's a shooter who can't shoot it's not likely HOU will take him. They owe him 7.5 million this year and next, but poor Rasual can't get on the floor playing for a team with one of the worst benchs in the league.

Different variations of the deal were still being worked on as of early Wednesday evening, but the deal appeared to have a better than 50-50 chance of going through, according to two sources with knowledge of the talks.
