Yes. I think we're just excited about the possibilities. We'll see how it plays out. The game against Boston will be a better test. But even then, we won't know until the injured players come back and even then probably 3 weeks by that. Basically the Cavs are now a huge sleeper out East. No one knows what they are going to be in the playoffs beyond that Lebron is going to play out of his mind.

Re: Cleveland trade seems to be working for them...

I really see Z's stats going up with more open looks better spacing and less exertion on defense to cover goodens mistakes. Also I'm hoping wally can find a 15ppg niche in about 30mpg.. that would be a great compliment to bron

Re: Cleveland trade seems to be working for them...

It's great to see it working out in their first game. Delonte looks like he can fit Cleveland well, Joe brings his consistency, Wally can drain it and Ben looks to be back!

Re: Cleveland trade seems to be working for them...

better than the phx trade perhaps? what would happen in three straight vs. the lakers, celtics, and pistons? this being said, i do think they are better than before. more guys to help james board, and a couple guys for him to drive and kick to. this was the trade phx should have made. wallace and smith would have fit their system much better. add to that two more shooters and the suns probably would have been better off.

Re: Cleveland trade seems to be working for them...

I was never really a big fan of the Phx trade, but this was a much lower-key move. And I am happy about that, because it doesn't come with the same kind of pressure-packed expectations of a Shaq trade. I think it was a very calculated move though. More like a low risk, medium reward type of thing.

Well...they already have beaten those teams except for the Pistons.

I love post-trade honeymoons. Remember when Miami fans were loving Ricky Davis?

Ben Wallace and Joe Smith will stay in the good graces of Cavs fans, but I'm chuckling at the Wally and Delonte West love.

They both concern me as well. I think Wallace fits well with Z and coming off the bench a Smith/AV combo will be strong. The Cleveland frontcourt which was already strong will be even better.

Just not sure of the backcourt: Still have to see if Wally can at least play some marginal defense. Also worried about West's shooting which has been bad this year (he's been a far better shooter in previous year so here's hoping he returns to form. After living with Hughes, inefficient scorers scare me badly)
