I'm excited because a lot of the mistakes made by Drew Gooden were gone.

That being said, it was one game against a terrible team. We're unquestionably a better team now, but it's hard to say how much better we are before we start to come together as a team. There will be bumps in the road.

Big Ben is going to enjoy playing next to Lebron and Big Z.

Re: Cleveland trade seems to be working for them...

you have 2 defensively active post players in varejo and wallace, 2 post players who can hit the 15-18 footer in Z and Smith, 1 lebron james, shooters in gibson, jones, wally and the occasional good shooting nite from West, a slasher in a pavlovic (health pending), Browns system should improve Wallace's output because he's Browns type of PF....and the teams overall defense (although Wallace was meant to be Skiles type of center....)...once pavlovic is healthy Cleveland have every base covered on paper....

Re: Cleveland trade seems to be working for them...

The only thing we don't have right now I think is a bona fide 2nd star.

Considering how stacked the West is this year, it may be possible that having a solid, deep roster with 1 star just isn't enough. The Lakers have Kobe and Pau and Bynum, the Hornets have West and Paul, Dallas has Dirk/Kidd, and so on. And of course there's the Celtics.

I think we have a very solid team right now, and I'm really interested in seeing how we stack up against some of the top teams as the season winds down.

As well as Cleavland played, it is Memphis... the same Memphis that starts Kwame Brown.
