i pretty much hate every play-by-play guy in the league now. just thought i'd remind some of the old timers (and some of you young bucks who were fortunate enough) of the greatest announcer in basketball broadcasting history: chick hearn.

i know this is prob in the wrong place, but it's that important to me, and if you're a fan of basketball it should be important to you too.

here are some classics (some of my favs in bold):

Nobody can ever touch Chick Hearn in terms of broadcasting. He was far and away the best broadcaster the NBA has ever had.
