Most Feared to-the-basket Slasher
Who is the most feared player when he has an open lane to the basket? Someone with reluctant challengers at the hoop. We know that it used to be guys like Shawn Kemp, Dominique and a prime Vince, but who holds that title now? Feel free to add to the poll.

Re: Most Feared to-the-basket Slasher
Amare might be the most feared.
I would say Melo is the best at sliding toward the basket for a pass or alley oop.

Re: Most Feared to-the-basket Slasher
someoen who is a power dunker. someone who is going to try to break your wrists if you dare try to block his dunk. someone who is going to make some ***** put on his poster.
someone falls under the category of LeBron James, Josh Smith, Rudy Gay, Kenyon Martin, Gerald Wallace, Tyrus Thomas.

Re: Most Feared to-the-basket Slasher
Shawn rarely 'slashes'. He finishes every once in a while, but he doesn't really slash except in the open court, and he rarely dunks if he was dribbling prior to that.
Dwyane Wade would definitely qualify if he weren't broken, and nobody in their right mind wants to contest Dwight Howard at the rim... that's a good way to get your wrists broken.

Lebron James. When he wants to score on a drive, no one's gonna stop him.

Kobe is not having Jordan's PPG because Kobe isnt selfish as Michael Jordan. He plays for the team where as Jordan played only for himself.
