Congress in talks of having a drug law for all pro sports

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/news/story?id=3267634

um, so why is congress intervening? aren't there more pressing issues to deal with? hi presidential election 2008. hi recessing economy/real estate crash. hi war in afghanistan/iraq.

it's kind of annoying how they want to stick their hand into this issue. i think they're just attention whores.

Congress can deal with more than one issue at a time.

Pro sports get certain exemptions from anti trust law, that's why Congress has the right to intervene. If you don't want them to, then have them lose their anti trust law exemptions.

Plus congress is full of scumbags and idiots. I'd rather have them worry about sports and not intervene more in the economy, if they intervene in the economy they would only make it worse and use their policies to benefits their own special interest groups.

Sorry, reflexive response to something that makes it sound like Congress is destroying the country.
