Dirk the Jerk - Video included
Dirk takes down AK47 maliciously. Dirk flopped even on a dirty play he initiated! I think flopping is just ingrained as an impulsive compulsive behavior in him by now....
This does not look good for AK. He is in hospital. He has had a history of bad back problems and he was limping off the court like a geriatric.

Kinda hard to feel for someone who flops around like a fish, and who plays on the dirtiest team in the league. Oh well.

Re: Dirk the Jerk - Video included
I wouldn't say he's a "jerk" because that didn't look intentional at all, but that was definitely a hard hit.
I'm glad Kirilenko was still able to nail both free throws; hopefully his hip is okay.

And it's a good thing for Kirilenko that it isn't. If it was, that probably would've been a clothesline/body slam/piledrive. The WNBA is ten times more physical than the NBA, whether or not men want to admit it.

It doesn't really surprise me that a Nuggets fan would say that about the Jazz, I watched a game between the two a few weeks back and I came away with the impression that the Nuggets were the dirty team and the Jazz were just physical and it got under Denver's skin.

where did dirk flop? he was off balance and pulled the guy to the ground. it makes sense that he might go down too.
this is bad for the jazz if it turns out to be serious. and a bad foul from dirk.

you're right. these people are good at basketball.
not sure how that statement is relevant though. dirty play shouldn't be allowed in the nba. if you want to send a message with a hard foul on a dirty play, feel free but don't be surprised when the refs(and league) send you a message by throwing you out(and potentially suspensions).

Re: Dirk the Jerk - Video included
I don't like Dirk. But anyone that levels a member of the Utah Jazz, I'm down with. Jerry Sloan is a great coach, there is no doubt, but he's dirty. That's a fact. His teams play dirty, regardless of who's playing for him. Sloan and the Jazz deserve a dose of their own medicine. I just wish it happened more often. I can't remember the last time a Jazz team played with any class.

Nuggets fan? That may be a stretch.
Besides, they're soft as hell. Sure, Kenyon does something dirty once in awhile and Camby does this weird ball swat thing that could take someone's head off sometimes, but there's nothing beyond that. The Jazz have a long and prominent history of forearms, shoves, and hitting people upside the head. Let's not compare the two.
