Why of all teams, Dallas? Dirk is soft and what they really need on that team is a closer, not someone who is scared to shoot and takeover a f***in game. That is why Dirk or Kidd will never win a ring, they are too soft. They are skilled, yes, but they are soft. Put Kobe or KG on that team instead of Dirk and see what happens....they would be instant title favorites year in and year out.

Dude Kidd soft???
He led his team to two NBA FINALS.
Do you know what the Nets record was the season before he joined??
The guy has his limitations but to call him soft is ridiculous. (Also just a quick point his choice of Dallas is surprising as the Mavericks are placed only one position higher than the Nets in their conference). But last two seasons they set a one of the ten best regular season records and went to the NBA Finals.
