The Dallas and Phoenix trades were obviously desperation moves that won't pay off at all.

I'm amazed at how many people are still blaming this on Jerry West. Memphis just made a really dumb trade that really benefitted another team. How they managed a way to get rid of Pau for complete garbage in return, and then NOT get rid of Brian Cardinal is mind-boggling.

I don't understand why people give Mitch Kuptchak so much credit for a deal that just fell into his lap. I think history has proven that he is pretty clueless, and if anything he has just gotten extremely lucky this year. If Michael Heisly(Memphis Owner) weren't such a retard snake who only cares about profits, then most likely Mitch "the genius" Kuptchak would have traded the expiring contrract of Kwame to Chicago for Ben "in his prime" Wallace.
