Not even close, really. Iverson was pretty villified from the moment he came into the league. And Paul will never approach that off court resume.

<!-- END featureItem --><!-- END featureArea -->Paul, 21, will make appearances at Toyota events and his image will be used in Toyota programs and advertising. As the NBA's Rookie of the Year, and one of People Magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People, the former Wake Forest player developed a relationship with Toyota after the car manufacturer sponsored “Chris Paul’s Winston-Salem Weekend” which benefits his charitable foundation called CP3. left "The ultimate goal is to help youth achieve the dream of going to college," said Paul. "With support from Toyota, the CP3 Foundation will offer full scholarships to hard-working and deserving individuals from the Winston-Salem community." The Winston-Salem Weekend is the CP3 Foundation's first major fundraising initiative. The proceeds from the event will go to benefit the Nathaniel Jones Scholarship Fund, named in honor of Paul's late grandfather. The scholarship fund raises money to send one student to from his hometown of Winston-Salem, NC to Wake Forest University. “Chris is one of today's top performers in professional basketball, yet he still finds time for philanthropic efforts," said Steve Jett, Toyota National Advertising Manager. Re: Chris Paul Showing his True Colors Again?
^Yeah great arguement I am sure Rafer Alston hasn't done anything good for the community The mere fact that he is in the NBA is inspiration to tons of people.

Re: Chris Paul Showing his True Colors Again?
^ Yup
This is really a nonstory it was prompted by a reporter and in context it really isn't anything. But you Paul fans gotta calm down. Instead of lashing back at Rafer(?)/Hodge(?) and pretending Paul is the perfect being, just get used to it. Like all the popular players, there are gonna be haters now for Paul who look to pick on every little thing. Look at Kobe and Lebron. You can't convince people to like your guy.
