Paul was trying to control the ball and got him in the nuts, so Bowen gave him a push, but the second part nothing happened. The whistle blew while Paul was getting up, Bowen was backing away. both players put their hands up, Paul lied back down. From the angle we've been seeing it looked like Bowen kicked him back down, but I think this angle clears it all up. It was a physical play but nothing really dirty. |
this vid shows it all
Bowen tried to pull his feet away and Paul flopped to make it look worst...
though i still think Bowen is a dirty player.

Even if he didn't want to hurt Paul, he could have. This isn't new, he AT LEAST needs to be safer... also less of a putz, but at least safer.

I dont think he even deserved to be suspended for this actually....and i hate Bowen. He has done far worse tho and gotten away with so, quite frankly, I am surprised. Good to see the double-standerd, which reigns over the San Antonio Spurs, finally start to go away though. David Stern has done me proud here.
