Would you be oppose for a Top 16 team playoff format?
top 16 teams is better. id rather see portland denver and even sacramento in the playoffs rather than new jersey, atlanta and washington.

Re: Would you be oppose for a Top 16 team playoff format?
I dont think its fair. Imagine if the #1 seed has to travel all the way across the country to play the #16 seed. Not fair to them at all, considering the #6 seed might get to play next door.

Re: Would you be oppose for a Top 16 team playoff format?
It seems fitting since apparently most people don't think there is much difference in the NBA schedules for EAST/WEST conferences. If thats the story they want to stick to then we might as well make it a top 16 format.

It would be mutual tho, Plus the better team would still have homecourt advantage....or the top 2 seeds could just get a bye or sumthin like how its done in the NFL. I think it would actually be more fair for the better teams tho and it could also help balance out the league in terms ending the trend of good west teams getter better draft picks then bad east teams who manage to make the playoffs. It's a win-win.

Re: Would you be oppose for a Top 16 team playoff format?
My suggestion would be to only include teams that are .500 or better. Any team that finishes with a losing record on the season doesn't deserve to compete for the Championship.

Re: Would you be oppose for a Top 16 team playoff format?
seriously. look at the west. of the top 8 teams right now, there's a chance they wont make the playoffs even if they win 50 games.
the east on the otherhand are playing the worst quality of basketball for the last 2-3 years. and teams playing 400 ball will have the opportunity to embarass themselves even further once the postseason begins.
this is not right. it sucks.
i mean do we really want to see a boston-new jersey series? i mean thats 4 boring playoff series. id rather see lets say boston against a possible 16th seeded team in this format like maybe portland traiblazers.

I'd rather not stay up until 1am every night for the playoffs, so I like it how it is.

Re: Would you be oppose for a Top 16 team playoff format?
There should never be a bye round in basketball...WAY too much time off, and it would have a serious chance of hurting the #1 seeds. Momentum and in game playing are huge to keeping your edge.
