Suns now employing the triangle?
Quote:
After losing to the Suns on Thursday night, Warriors' Coach Don Nelson has determined that Phoenix runs the triangle offense, according to the Arizona Republic.
"They run the triangle offense now a little bit," Golden State Coach Don Nelson said. "They get into it a little bit different than the Lakers do. They get in through the flex cuts, but it's still the triangle. They're going to O'Neal as a passer. It looked good the last game. I'm sure they'll do more of it."

Interesting. I think its only fitting since they traded for a guy who obviously could not hang with Phoenix' uptempo run and gun offense. I dont think they'll go all out, but on certain stretches im expecting them to exploit Shaq's still massive advantage almost over any Center in the West.
Shaq in Phoenix might work afterall...

Huh?
Suck with him on the floor?
The last 3 games his +/- has been +9, +18 and a whopping +21 against the Spurs.

Re: Suns now employing the triangle?
Suns have a ray of hope. the past two games, i've seen a greatly renewed suns team that can play any type of game thrown at them and adjust on the fly. theyre going to need everything to work right in order to go deep and reach the finals

+/- is easily manipulated in small sample sizes. Just look at what they are since the trade; a 6-6 .500 ballclub.

Yeah! I meant, this is just like NBA 2K8!!! As soon as you trade for another player there are absolutely no transition/adaptation to be made, new players fit in with the old players automatically!
