Re: Who sees the Suns conquering the West?
I like the new Suns for the playoffs. They look good. I hope I get to see them play San Antonio. That could be one hell of a series.

Re: Who sees the Suns conquering the West?
Welcome to the boards.
I don't think they will get the #1 spot, but I can definitely see them in the top 3 or 4 teams.
As said before in this thread, they are looking nice for the play-offs, I'd love a Suns/Spurs series.

Re: Who sees the Suns conquering the West?
I'm giving a slight edge to a healthy Lakers team to come out of the West but Phoenix is right there with the rest of the pack. Shaq is rounding into form and they are quickly learning to play together. Amare is playing fantastic ball at PF and they have more than enough roleplayers to get it done.
Their lineup really is legendary-
Nash
Barbosa
Hill
Amare
Shaq
You gotta love it.

Check their opp FG% for the past 10 games and get back to us.
It's not their defense but their rebounding, 3pt shooting and TOs that are causing a problem

10 games is too small a sample size, but even in those past ten games there D has been rather horrible when you compare them to other top teams.
Watch the games, then come back to us. stats don't show everything

I don't know which Lakers or Spurs are showing up. I like the Jazz and Suns.

That's about how long Shaq has been on the team. I live in Phoenix brotha, I watch every game. Dating back from the San Antonio game, they've been holding their opponents to 42.5% shooting (except for the blowout against Boston where they yielded 52%) I would dare to say that that is pretty good defense.
