There's a guy that, regardless of his contract, has basically produced more in a year than what Grant Hill produced in 7 years with the Magic. Grant Hill was putting up about 15 ppg for the Magic in his last couple seasons one the rare occasion of when he could actually suit up for a game. Rashard Lewis has been Mr. Consistant for the Magic putting up over 18 a game and only having missed 1 game so far this season.

Grant Hill's departure was more than offset by the arrival of Rashard Lewis. So I don't see how that is the reason Hedo improved.

There's also no statute of limitations on improvement. So your 8 seasons point is irrelevant.

Basing judgements just on stats is never really a good idea .. but given we can't all watch basketball 24 hours a day it is understandable.

Hedo has been tremendous and has possibly been the best player on the team over the course of the season. He has been money in fourth quarters and has won like 3 games this season himself with game winning shots.

One of the reasons Orlando is going to be a relative surprise 50 win team this year is because they've got back massively on turnover problems that killed them last year ... and the reason for that ... is SVG putting the ball in Hedo's hands over our PGs.

I'd love to see Hedo win it ... he deserves some kind of recognition. He's played beautiful basketball this year.
