Great question. I'm wondering this myself, that is how pathetic the Cavs look from one game to the next.
I mean, if they lose to the Heat (no disrespect to them, but come on...), they should just give their playoff spot to Indiana and come back next year with an actual coach.

Should be close, but ultimately it'll come down to Powell vs James.

Ouch.
Actually, it does seem like the team has had trouble getting things flowing with Wally. What is it about him that always grates on his teammates? He seems enthusiastic and wants to win, and he doesn't really seem like a jerk.

Ricky Davis will have a huge game, you watch. If they lose to the Heat, how can Mike Brown NOT be fired?

He is on pace to score 96 pts, make 40 of 40 shots.

He's a lot like a certain ex-president (if the first lady's biographer is to be believed), very good at the PR work and looking good to the public, but a pretty rotten individual behind closed doors. Add in the fact that he's a defensive liability on the court, and the first to blame his teammates (off the record, natch) when talking to reporters, and you have a recipe for disaster. Boston was a near .500 team when they acquired him, but the bottom had dropped out within 15 games, and the clubhouse, which wasn't exactly a cheery place to begin with, became a toxic waste dump in no time. His tendency to chuck up shots doesn't really help his standing with his teammates, either. (In Boston, once Pierce let the ball get to Laurel & Hardy he would sometimes have to steal it back from them as Wallonte just played a two man game.) His idyll was Seattle, bad team, zero pressure to win, free reign to fire up shots till his heart's content. Other than that he's just the sort of player that makes everyone around him worse.

Joe Smith has been in the league what...16 years, and he can't even explain Mike Brown's offensive system. The Cavs play call names are supposedly the longest and most difficult in the entire league. And this has been known for about 2 years. But never addressed. It's weird to say that Mike Brown's offense might be too complex, but it's probably true. When you watch it, you get the sense that he's got a lot of intricate screens going on off the ball. But the thing is, all of that stuff takes about 15 seconds to develop and it may not work even then. Meanwhile the ball is usually sitting on one of the wings waiting for the play to go. It's not like Lebron can't adapt to diffrent offenses. He did well in Team USA's fastbreak style this past summer. And he was effective in Paul Silas's offense.

What's so hard about "Give-the-ball-to-LeBron-and-shoot-it-on-the-third-time-he-passes-it" or "Give-the-ball-to-LeBron-and-shoot-it-if-he-says-so"?

That play is probably called like Red Yellow Mcdonalds Power Crunch Upside Down 73 16 Donkey butt. And it has intricate hand movements meant to confuse other teams that go with the opposite of each word.

Kobe is not having Jordan's PPG because Kobe isnt selfish as Michael Jordan. He plays for the team where as Jordan played only for himself.
