I've done it plenty of times in pick-up games, high school games and during youth basketball league games. Most of the time I don't even realize that it was a big shot that I'd hit so I'd just walk off or if there was still time left, get back on defense. During games with a time limit I've never hit one as time expired. However, if it was during a game with just a score limit I'd hit it and just walk off the floor without a reaction at all.
