Re: Where does Denver go from here?
George Karl has lost just as many times in the first round with superior teams than he has made serious runs at the title. This guy has coached some talented teams and yet his playoff record really isn't that great.

Re: Where does Denver go from here?
AI seems like much less of a problem to me than Carmelo's frequent disinterest and Martin's long stretches of disappearing. Also they still don't seem clear on all their defensive assignments and it's been this way all year.

Terry is not the same player as Iverson, I don't know why you continue to imply this. Not only does Terry not get into the lane and finish as well, he fades under pressure just like every other player on the roster.
And we have Stackhouse and Jones to guard twos already. No, that's not a statement on my opinion of them, just saying we already have people that guard 2s, so Iverson wouldn't be relied on for that.

I don't know where Denver will be going. But I know that Nene/Kenyon will be going to their mailboxes every 2 weeks for the next 3-4 years and I know what they'll find in them when they go there.

The man's postseason record is 62-82. Phil Jackson or Red Auerbach he isn't.

If you think of him as a point guard, then yes. However, Iverson's not good at that position.
As for Terry, it's not about them being the same player, but filling the same role. Terry's more of a shooter, but they're both undersized combo guards who are better scorers than passers. There's absolutely no reason they should ever be on the same team.

Thank you. Just go to basketball reference and look up George Karl. You won't like what you see.

I see no reason why Terry couldn't be a sixth man and Iverson can't start with Stack. They don't fill the same role. They have the same body type and relative skillset but not the same production potential at all.
Terry's role is more of a sparkplug/shooter, best off the bench. Iverson would be a much more prominent player within the offense, because he's a more capable scorer, and a better passer, when he actually passes.

I dunno...I think the Pistons would give up Richard Hamilton, Amir Johnson, Arron Afflalo and a pick for Iverson. I'm not sure that would work under the cap, but as of now, the Pistons should be a couple million under next season.
