I don't think you understand the voting, I think the maximum number of first place votes one could receive was 635, so Kobe was unanimous, while one or two voters didn't vote Chris Paul first-team so he only accumulated 629.

Paul Pierce got more first team votes than Dirk. The Boston media is outrageous. If Carmelo Anthony was playing for the Celtics, they'd have his jersey retired already. Good grief.

he had a better year than Joe Johnson, Andre Miller, Ray Allen, Hedo Turkoglu, Jason Kidd, Josh Howard, Rip Hamilton, and Tony Parker. All of them were on play off teams, sure, but all of them had much better supporting casts.

I really wish Deron would stop missing the All-star team. Guy gets voted 2nd team all-NBA, but keeps missing out on the AS team. Not good.

Where's Iverson? Him being underrated this past few seasons is so out of whack, especially since he's been very good this particular one.

Easily the best First Team in a long time. Amare is NOT a 5, he's a 4. Vince Carter? He dogs it on occasion by his own admission! Nash, 2nd TEAM, Parker 1 VOTE??? That's a joke! Chris Paul NOT unanimous??? That's a bigger joke! I agree that whoever didn't vote him 1st team should be replaced.
