Re: Denver now listening offers for Melo?
Yeah, they'd have to get creative to deal Martin. I don't know, but seemingly there's someone almost every yr who gets moved that it's surprising to see with their contract situation. Maybe find a team with a player that's worn out their welcome there. And yeah, that's why I said maybe Camby. I don't know who they would put at Center. Some Nugget fans want to get rid of him. Put someone better next to him, and/or get a perimeter defender.

He's exactly what Toronto needs.

Re: Denver now listening offers for Melo?
No reason to trade him unless you can get fair value and at this exact moment I'd guess his value is really low. That team is a mess in my opinion.AI can't really play the point.Carter isn't good enough to start for a good team,JR Smith played great for a couple of months, but I'll be damned if I'd bet on him not self-destructing before he ever "got it".I find their entire philosophy repugnant though and they've created a culture that's infected with fundamentally unsound principles...It's just a great big pile of **** and I won't pretend I know how to clean it up.
If I could get anything for Iverson I would take it thought. He's a two guard who can't guard two guards.Unless you have a point guard/combo guard who can guard twos you're starting the game in a hole.Him and Carter together is never going to work in the playoffs, not unless you're only doing it for short spans.

Re: Denver now listening offers for Melo?
AI for JKIDD.
JKIDD is not as good as AI, but he is better for Melo, and Kmart (who is unmovable anyways). Keep Karl for the run and gun style.
Possible keep Camby and become a Tyson Chandler type player with Kidd.
Please keep Kleiza, he is so underated.
I don't give a damn about JRsmith. trade him for skittles

i agree with everything except the part about JR smith. he has already officially "got it". id be SHOCKED if we traded him, especially since his value is still pretty low (i hope it is anyway, cuz we dont have much money to re-sign him)

No, Thomas and his guys weren't the only ones in the wrong Saturday. The Nuggets have their own issues. But when it was over, at least they weren't crying, at least they weren't punking.
It's all gone in New York now – the pride, the respect, the dignity. This isn't just a bad team; this is a bad act. A once proud franchise and fan base brought to its knees as its pathetic coach makes excuses and whines for mercy.

Re: Denver now listening offers for Melo?
A few years ago, I prepared a trade proposal when I heard the rumor.

wrong. he just needs to be paired with good defensive players and a coach who will force him to play D ie 2000 sixers.
im so tired of AI cant fit on a good team bull****. he will need good defensive players to overcome his liabilities on D but he can definately be part of a winning team.
before this season, ray allen was no better on defense. look what happened.

Re: Denver now listening offers for Melo?
Trade JR Smith while his value's high, along with Iverson, for a good package of roleplayers including a (border-line) all-star point guard.
Wish the Heat had something to offer for Melo, but its unlikely. Melo'd be fine next to Wade I reckon.

Re: Denver now listening offers for Melo?
BYE BYE Iverson.
Melo is still young and talented.
JR Smith will fit in so well a SG. With Kleiza or Najera as the backup.
Trade Iverson for a true PG. Try get rid of Kmart aswell. He has a terrible contract. Replace him with another PF.
