No, Thomas and his guys weren't the only ones in the wrong Saturday. The Nuggets have their own issues. But when it was over, at least they weren't crying, at least they weren't punking.
It's all gone in New York now – the pride, the respect, the dignity. This isn't just a bad team; this is a bad act. A once proud franchise and fan base brought to its knees as its pathetic coach makes excuses and whines for mercy.

Re: Denver now listening offers for Melo?
Melo will succeed in the east.
Melo > Wade
Melo > LeBron
How many games did Melo win this season?
How about this trade?
RJ to third team
Melo to NJ
Third team gives Nuggets a star.

I really hope they hold on to Sean. The frontcourt really really looks shaky if the Nets give up so much

Re: Denver now listening offers for Melo?
Then the Nets will have a roster of
Camby
Boone
Melo
Vince
Harris
Diop
Swift
Hassel
Nachbar
Random guys #1-3
This team is better than the one right now, but it's still far from being a contender even in the East. I would do Jefferson/Sean Williams/Marcus Williams for Melo and leave the rest of the guys alone. You need the pick and Kristic in the lineup or else the team has no depth and a couple injuries could turn the team into Miami Heat v2.

Re: Denver now listening offers for Melo?
^I dont know about not contending. Melo is a bonafide scorer and Vince is no slouch either, the starting five looks legit. The bench needs some work

This board doesn't really watch the Nuggets. They like to join the hate on Carmelo bandwagon and go home.

They're not going to beat Detroit/Boston or even the Cavs. You are not contending unless you are on par with those 3 teams. With the Cavs you have Lebron who will handle Melo and they have an assortment of guys that they can throw at Vince. I don't see how the result would be any different from last year when they lost to them with Kidd in the lineup. If it's about scoring then the upgrade from RJ to Melo isn't going to suddenly propel the Nets from a sub .500 team to contender status.
Camby is 34 going on 35 and Vince is like 31 or 32? If they don't contend next year then it's not going to get much better from there.
