Thank God Miami didn't win the lottery
It would have been a complete travesty, they tanked their way. 75% of their injuries could have been avoided and they had a team of the biggest nobodies in NBA history. Thank god, I would have been happier if they got even lower, would have been fair

Them falling to two really is no different from one. They just don't have to make the tough decision now.

Re: Thank God Miami didn't win the lottery
Where amazing happens. Miami goes from champion to first round K.O. to worst record and the second pick in only two years, the Bulls from young and upcoming team to #1 on a lot of Eastern Conference preview to missing the playoffs and winning the lottery.

Re: Thank God Miami didn't win the lottery
when pat riley left the team to "scout" potential lottery players, it was only for 2 guys... yet he took all that time off? and now he doesn't even have to choose.
i don't hate him or anything, but what's up with that?

Totally. He should have just traveled into the future and seen the results of the lottery before scouting them.

Re: Thank God Miami didn't win the lottery
We might as well have won it since you can't go wrong with either pick.

No one in this draft has HOF potential. Good grief.

He never should have abandoned his team. He made a mockery of the NBA and the lottery process. David Stern is an absolute joke, if the sport had a good commissioner Riley would have been banned and the Heat would have lost their pick. The coach leaving in the midddle of the season is the most diisgraceful thing to happen to the NBA since Kermit's punch.
What Riley did is worse and more disgraceful than what the Patriots did.
