How is lebron better defensively then malone? taking the opposing player out of the game. frustrating him. outplaying star players down the stretch and demoralizing them. bodying them.

If LeBron did all those things consistently then he'd be an easy selection for an All-Defensive team. He doesn't though and I can't recall the last time he shut down the player he was guarding. The truth of the matter is that as far as defense goes, LeBron is still behind in development.

And LeBron is no average 23 year old, I still believe that he is closer to peaking than most people like to believe.
