Who's going to gamble on...
Gerald Green? My guess is the Spurs. They need to get younger and have a giving cheap young players a shot (see James White). He's comparable to a young Michael Finley. He can be had for cheap. He's a Texas kid. He needs the right kind of hard-nosed environment to develop in and players tend to fall in line behind Timmy and Pop.
Dejaun Wagner? I think this guy played pretty well in Europe and is healthy. He's training in the States, looking to find a team to stick with. Who needs a cheap combo guard? Magic, Cavs, Heat, or Bobcats.
Patrick O'bryant? I think this guy will draw some interest after putting up some big numbers in the D-league. I'm thinking the Raps take him for cheap.
Chris Anderson? is he a free agent? if so, i think Miami would have to be interested. they have to bolster their frontcourt with athleticism and the Birdman can still produce.
Anyone else that different teams will might take flyers on?

I'd rather the Heat take interest in Patrick O'Bryant than Birdman (or any of the others).

GG and Patrick will get another chance next year. I don't know about the other two.

Dajuan Wagner will probably play his way back into the league as a backup.

Re: Who's going to gamble on...
my two favourite players that aint in the NBA (outside of the aforementioned James Flight White)
Tarence Kinsey (if you aint know, check dudes stats in the final 20 games in the season before last 06-07).. Kid has a killer instinct & defensive nose.
& Marcus Haislip (he aint the same kid that was drafted by them Bucs, Euro Veteran & Multi-Skilled athlete)

Re: Who's going to gamble on...
If I were a GM I would sign Gerald Green on some cheap 2 year deal, and I would absolutely throw a mil or two at Birdman. Andersen is a great big man role player with the PERFECT attitude on the court. Green has way too much potential to give up on.
I never really liked O'Bryant, and unfortunately I think Dajuan is done in the NBA. I feel really bad for Wagner, but he's not worth the risk at this point.

Re: Who's going to gamble on...
Gerald Green isn't good, so he shouldn't get signed.

Re: Who's going to gamble on...
Maybe Cuban gives GG a look. Mavs need to get more athletic to maximize Kidd's playmaking abi | |
