Why would the Nets want him? I thought they were rebuilding?

Jermaine has never publically demanded a trade and never will. He has simply stated that he doesn't want to be a part of a rebuilding project. Personally I like the idea of sending him to Golden State for Al Harrington and something else, a draft pick and matt barnes?

Re: o'neal wants out. who wants him back?
there isn't much of a demand for a guy like jermaine o'neal these days. he's really washed up now, and really won't bring much to the table other than being consistently injured and inconsistent production. if a team is looking to acquire jermaine, it would be next season when he becomes a huge expiring.

There has to be some kind of rule keeping Indiana from getting Harrington again.

If you were to offer me 44 million dollars right now, I would offer to give you a ring made out of 3 of my fingers, part of my penis, and any other body part you would like. JO wants to win? Great. If I'd make a penis ring for 44 million dollars, JO would stay in Indy and lose for it as well.

Bingo. It's obvious JO hasn't been happy in Indiana for quite sometime now (Over 2 seasons), and nowadays it's funny how your desire to play for a GM or Head Coach affects your health.
