here's an example:
You have a gorgeous girl that gives you all the oral sex and foreplay you want, but no actual sexual intercourse. Shoot, of course you get the glamour of being with a top notch girl, but you don't quite feel complete and satisfied. There's no shame "sealing the deal" with another girl who isn't as pretty, but heck.. at least you got to tap that booty.

Meh. The dude's a multi-NBA Champion, I'm sure he's a bit spoiled in that sense. Had he never won anything I doubt he'd say that.

But to be honest, I'd rather win Olympic gold than an NBA title.

Re: kobe: winning olympic gold>nba title

personally i agree, even though most people outside the states probably won't

i mean if you take a look at it just by importance itself - as far as i know for the USA NBA is most important basketball competition, but for the rest of the world it's olympics.but the rest of the world is a bigger market than the states, so globally winning the olympics is more important than winning the NBA title in my opinion.

also if you take a look at the athens 2004 and the roster team USA had, they would probably win the NBA title with relative ease - LBJ, AI, Wade, STAT, Melo, Timmy... but they failed to win it all at the olympics. so by that we could say it is harder to win the olympic golden medal than the NBA title

Re: kobe: winning olympic gold>nba title

Of course, you're representing your country/nation in the most celebrated and historical sporting event known to civilization. Winning the gold should mean alot more than an NBA championship...always.

Re: kobe: winning olympic gold>nba title

makes sense.

kobe got embarrassed out of the Nba finals in blowout losses, with 40 point loss in the final game lol

of COURSE he suddenly doesnt care.

"oh well i didnt care about winning a title as the team leader to get out of shaq's shadow. i didnt care all along. OLYMPICS IS WHERE ITS AT!!!!!!!!"

doesnt he already have a gold medal?

its just sad what a pathetic fake human being kobe is.

I think I'd also rather have an Olympic Gold Medal than an NBA ring.

I believe he actually said the same thing last summer. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure he's said it before.

Re: kobe: winning olympic gold>nba title

Unless the rest of the world proves that they can give the USA team a serious run for their money then I would say NBA championship is bigger. 2004 just made the USA team realize they actually had to play instead of treating it with slightly more respect than an all star game. You have to beat better teams to win a NBA championship.
