Jordan's pack of Mercer(it was Mercer, right?)
That was one of the greatest plays in basketball history, IMO.
Watching the old man Jordan do that was like a flashback to what was and could have been, and what always will be. When he perfectly timed that jump and pinned that ball against the glass it was like the young MJ had come back for a brief moment. While in the air, he had the young MJ style and grace, and when he pinned that ball on the board he had the ferociousness of a lion.
It is beautiful to me to have seen MJ play when he was older, not because he could compete against the best or could dominate a game, but because of the way he played the game. He had to use moves and skills that he never had before, and this brought out something new in the game. He changed the game when he was young, and he changed the game as he got older.
That play will stand out in my mind just as much as the free throw line dunk, or the game winning shots. Being as old as him and still doing stuff that has never been done, that is the sign of a legend.
