I have been laughing at the idea of the of resighning him all offseason but I have never viewed him as a bad GM dection and its not a bust i.e Kwame Brown. That only in theroy but in pratice he is a bust. Although its nobodys fault its still underachievment but only due to bad luck

You should read the article. He "had debris removed" from the knee that hasn't given him any problem since microfracture surgery. It was a simple orthroscopic surgery, and probably didn't set him back much at all, although I still really doubt he'll play this season. And don't count him out, yet. Bowie came back and had a semi-productive career. Maybe I'm just too much of a fan, but I can easily see Oden signing with another team this off season and averaging 12/10/2 for the rest of a productive, healthy career.

Bust, absolutely, considering the time he's missed and how people thought he could really impact the offensive side of the floor. However, when he plays, he's 100 times the player Kwame Brown is.
