Lol he had no intention of actually retiring, he just wanted to get the **** out of Portland.

Portland has doctors and they know what's going on in Roy's knees. If he hadn't got hurt he'd have come out in draft a year (or two) sooner. If everyone hadn't been worried that he'd end up like this he'd have been drafted at least five spots higher.

I remember Allan Houston sitting out like 2 seasons at $20 million a year because of bad knees. And every season he would show up ready to go. Couldn't play ! But, he would be there. And when that contract was up, he talked about signing a new one.

I'm sure Johnathan Bender, Eddy Curry, Roy Tarpley would like to play also. Doesn't mean they can or should. Who doesn't like free money ??

Bender tried a few years ago with the Knicks or somebody. He's too far gone though and hes not some young athletic guy anymore.

Eddy Curry is with the Heat now. He probably should try lap band surgery (go find the bare chested picture yourself)

Isn't that Shabazz kid or whatever supposed to be the next great 2 guard? Tyreke let us all down, Gordon and Harden are both really good but not great, and we all know what happened to Roy. The position is the weakest it's been in years.

**** if I know anything about high school ball, but the few times I've opened up a SLAM over the past few years he's been everywhere. That the people that follow high school ball on here seem to be really high on him.

Hopefully for our sake this kid actually lives up to the hype. I want a new stud shooting guard in this league.
