Why are the Pacers mulling it's an easy decision. Unless Walsh (I think he's running things now) is a dumbass.

They aren't. It just happened today. They'll match. They knew well before the Blazers offer they'd match anything offered for Hibbert.

Who are we to say though? I hear Thailand is the real hot spot for NBA sources. Maybe the good Doctor is just getting his inside info way before us.

What if he gets drunk with the Prime Minister of Thailand tonight and tells him Roy Hibbert HAS to go to Portland?

So......how exactly does the Blazer curse work? Do you have to be drafted by them, or is it enough to sign on with the team? If the Pacers do indeed match, will simply putting his name on a contract from the Blazers cause the curse to hunt him down in Indy, or does the fact that the offer would have never been finalized exempt Hibbert?
