Jeff Foster was one of the best per minute rebounders for the majority of his career. I can't see Plumlee replacing that aspect that Foster brought.

Would be nice though.

Plumlee is going to suck. Don't get fooled by these summer league games.

I agree with that until Plumlee proves us wrong.

I'm not expecting anything out of him. I guess if there was still a prime Shaq you could throw him out there as a hack a Shaq.

Re: The Summer League Thread

honestly he will be the next DJ Mbenga, good size good athleticism, good defense...but no clue offensively and inability to stay out of foul trouble will prevent him from being a starter.

But he should stick in the league as a backup big..

Guys be sure to check out Damian Lillard for the Portland Trailblazers during the Las Vegas Summer League games. He' was the sixth pick by Portland. The kid has a great game, and should make an impact right out the gate. He will be taking on the new young squad of New Orleans on July 15th.

Re: The Summer League Thread

Klay Thompson is putting on a show.

No one on the Lakers' summer league team belongs in the NBA and could start in D-League.

Lakers never have any prospects. They always trade them away for established stars.

True, but this has to be one of the worst summer league teams I have ever seen in my 4 years of watching Summer League, teams like the Lakers without prospects usually get the top D-League players. DJO is the only player that looks like he could be the 12th man on an NBA team.

Kings vs Bobcats MKG, Kemba, Bismack vs Thomas Robinson is coming up.

Re: The Summer League Thread

Golden State has a pretty good team by summer league standards as well. Harrison Barnes is going to be a much better pro than college player, and Draymond Green went about 15 spots too late on draft night.

Re: The Summer League Thread

MKG can get to the rim with ease

at Jimmer Fredette being a lotto pick dude can't even bring the ball up the court.

Pay attention to former Vanderbilt guards.

Re: The Summer League Thread

Ebanks and Glock are better than johnsonodom.

What's funny is the lakers d league team last year shattered the record for call ups. They had 7 when the old record was two.

Tinsley, Gerald green, Courtney fortson, Jamario moon...

Re: The Summer League Thread

Ebanks did not play and Goudelock did not look like a NBA bench player during the game.
