Melo's Ridiculous Comment is ridiculous

Melo's recent and very popular "ridiculous" comment about Lin's contract is ridiculous. This is from a man who is making $20M per year. He has yet delivered a winning tradition to any of his team from Denver to New York. He is known as one of the best one-dimensional players in the league. I know that this might stir up something "ridiculous" comment, but I find it funny for him to judge Lin's contract and he is overpaid himself.

no star in the league who is producing anywhere near his expected level is overpaid ....in fact Anthony is underpaid , the day after the knicks acquired him they jacked up all the ticket prices .

lin is probably going to be underpaid as well as long as he can bring in people to watch him play.

We're calling Carmelo a loser now? The same guy that has never missed the playoffs in his entire career and pushed the eventual champion Lakers to 6 games in 2009? Anthony has a ton of flaws, but biggest of all is that he simply isn't as talented as a guy like LeBron or Durant, and his skill set does not lend itself to being a second option on offense.

People talk about his "inability to preform in the playoffs" but how many of those series should he have been expected to win?

He is one dimensional and is a cancer on any team he will go to because he is a 6'8" AI in the sense that the only thing he contributes to a team is scoring but needs the ball to be effective, so he cripples his team's defense. On top of that, his D is not good enough to anchor the team's defense to make an impact on the other side of the floor.

'Melo is one dimensional? I'm assuming that the dimension that you're referring to is his scoring ability, an attribute where he is probably one of the ten best in the entire world at. He's also a good rebounder and an adequate passer. He was a top five rebounder at his position this past year and was 6th in APG. These are not the makings of a one dimensional player.

How many small forwards anchored their team's defense last year? Exactly two. LeBron James (the best player in the world) and Andre Iguodala (probably one of the ten most versatile players in the league). 'Melo is no where near a perfect player, but the dude is still far from one dimensional.
