Apparently Gomes may be coming back in S/T. Meh.
Gomes for who?

Uh, Grant Hill. That's if there's a S/T and they want to pay more than bi-annual

Backup forward Ryan Gomes, who is due to make $4 million in the final year of his contract, likely would be the player headed to Phoenix in a sign-and-trade agreement

Re: TWITTER: Grant Hill Reaches Agreement With Clippers

Do the Clippers really need another ancient wing that is solid at everything though? Doesn't Caron Butler fill this need?

Chances Hill blows out his knees now that he's a Clipper just went up by about 1000%.

Overrated? Only by Broussard.

The Clippers desperately needed a back up 3 last year. Hill fills a need, but im pretty sure he would have started for the Lakers.

Also, if this is a sign and trade involving Gomes, its a home run for the Clippers. Gomes was very likely to be amnestied and definitely wasnt getting off the bench this season.

Re: TWITTER: Grant Hill Reaches Agreement With Clippers

Butler was really erratic last year. He played great at times, and horribly at others. Hill might be better than him.

Re: TWITTER: Grant Hill Reaches Agreement With Clippers

I wouldnt mind Hill starting, but I think the 2nd unit needs him. Bledsoe, Crawford, Odom, someone at center. Too many guys who need the ball for Butler, imo

Ah, I see. I just feel like somebody who could defend the paint would have been a better choice. That's really the Clips' greatest weakness at this point.

The only bright spot on the Clippers. Hope they both do well.

Re: TWITTER: Grant Hill Reaches Agreement With Clippers

Apparently it's a sign and trade now. Gomes coming to Phoenix. I'm guessing it was just to help Hill get paid. Another classy move for the Suns. Could of just made him take the bi-annual exception and enjoy. Getting Gomes doesn't help the Suns at all unless we are getting some sort of pick back in return.

Well billups won't be back until December so Leslie Wii get some burn as backup guard. Tompkins should get minutes as well since we have no backup center

Clippers need Jordan to develop into a better rim protector, but we definitely need a back up C.

If true, this is an amazing deal for the Clippers. Gomes was likely to be amnestied.

Re: TWITTER: Grant Hill Reaches Agreement With Clippers

hard to believe they got rid of Gomes without giving up a 2nd rounder.
