Re: Best Finals loser/team that didn't win the ring
No I put "team that didn't win a ring" to cover them
That team might be the best in the NBA right now. They're like the Suns done right kind of. |

Didnt the sonics and jazz each win 64 games... i know that the year chicago won 72 games seattle won 64... that has to easily be the record for best combined winning percentage in an nba finals

Re: Best Finals loser/team that didn't win the ring
Those late 90s Jazz teams were really good. The team was put together superbly featuring two of the games greatest players and some role players who knew they were role players and played within themselves. Then you throw in a completely rabid fan base and a HOF coach. Remember in the Finals when they would always show the decibel level in the Jazz arena? But Michael Jordan didn't get that memo.

Re: Best Finals loser/team that didn't win the ring
Nah, the West was stacked at that time (Kings, Lakers, Mavs, Blazers and Spurs were all excellent for all or part of that run). The Kings should have won in 2002, but the refs screwed them out of a ring. They weren't really that close again, though. They should have been a one-and-done champion.
