Re: Best rivalries heading into the season
I actually forgot about Mayo when I made that post. So I do take back the whole not making the playoffs part. But regardless, they aren't making the finals.

Re: Best rivalries heading into the season
I'd like to see the Hornets make up some ground on the other Southwest division teams this year. Those NO/SA and NO/DAL series are always fun to watch when we're at least average.

Re: Best rivalries heading into the season
Just now saw this as I was looking through the past comments. I'm not so sure we'll see the same series that we saw this past year if the Heat are healthy. With a much deeper bench and a healthy Chris Bosh, I don't see the Pacers doing much against the Heat.

The Pacers will challenge the Heat. There is no doubt about it. Obviously as deep underdogs, but those of you who think its a cake walk to the finals have another thing coming, yet again.

Re: Best rivalries heading into the season
The Dwight Howard vs. Dwight Howard rivalry will be pretty funny.

Re: Best rivalries heading into the season
Not a rivalry, but a match up that might be quite interesting is when LA meets BK during the season.
I think Bynum will want to prove something. Both teams are not on the same level but it might be an interesting game. Especially if the game is in LA. Do both teams meet this season? I'm guessing yes. Last edited by Dee-Zy; 09-13-2012 at 08:57 PM. |

Re: Best rivalries heading into the season
And that's exactly what ended up happening. If Bosh was playing with the Heat against the Pacers it wouldn't have been as close, hell it probably would've went five games. In that infamous game where Wade only scored 5 points, if Bosh was there then things would've happened a lot differently, I can guarantee you that much.

Re: Best rivalries heading into the season
That's silly to say. Bosh might just be the best player on the Pacers if he switched sides. A healthy Bosh changes everything for the Heat.

And Bosh, the premier defender he is, guards Hibbert and West correct? Both of them. Neither are left to abuse Anthony. Its like talking to the same brain dead idiots every single year. Last year was supposed to be a sweep according to many Miami fans. Chris Bosh wouldn't matter because Lebron and Wade were so super duper cool with their nerd glasses that the series would be a cake walk....... then reality hit and it wasn't. I like speaking with adults on this website. But it seems that when it comes to Miami all I get is shit like this. Not once did I say Indiana would win the series. I said it would be an actual series. Not Miami murdering a JV ball team like I was told was going to happen last playoffs.
