Re: My Visit To The Hall of Fame
You should've told me, I'd've taken you out for the best Italian meal that money could buy. Just a warning, Springfield's a shithole, so be careful of your rental.

And it would have also saved me a lot of grief looking for parking. Was going to go to a place called "Neptune Oyster" I was really hankering for some of that famous Boston clam chowder, but the wait was 2 hours or more (after I finally snagged a parking spot). Finally ended up at a place called "Yankee Lobster" which was okay, but not that great. As far Springfield, I am actually not staying there. I am staying in Albany that night...then on to Cooperstown, Toronto, and Canton, with a Bills/Browns game mixed in. All the Hall of Fames. I got the idea after I got basically laid off for the last two weeks of September. With all this free time, might as do what I had always planned for.

Re: My Visit To The Hall of Fame
The north end in Boston has some fantastic places to eat. I'm in CT, but my cousin lived there for the past several years until being transferred to New York this year and I visited him all the time. I miss having an excuse to get food there.

Re: My Visit To The Hall of Fame
I visited the HOF some time in the mid-00's. It was quite enjoyable, though I thought the whole experience was geared more towards kids than those who have a legitimate appreciation for the history of the game. I wouldn't know if Canton or Cooperstown are similar in that regard.

Because after sharing e-mails and PMs about one PauloCatarino for years, it would be nice to be face-to-face and discuss that particular poster in person.
