Re: David Stern cracking down on pregame routines
We can agree on step in the right direction. Not sure what I'm reaching for. Just thought it was pretty clear indicating this rule would make any sort of noticeable change to the start time is like Romney thinking killing Big Bird will help the economy.

Re: David Stern cracking down on pregame routines
pretty sure no one thought this would make the games start instantly. worst case, this change does nothing. best case games start sooner by some amount. where's the downside?

Re: David Stern cracking down on pregame routines
My point from day 1 is who observed a pregame routine and thought "you know what, I don't like this, let's get rid of it"...who was that hurting..especially when as we see now it has nothing to do with how fast we get to view the game.

Re: David Stern cracking down on pregame routines
Total non-story except for angry message board geeks.
Teams were already adhering to the new "guidelines" before the media even reported it, and literally no one noticed.
