Shaq, overopinion of himself, and a liar. Most dominant player in the game for a number of years KG, Obnoxious POS leader. Clutch player T-Mac, couldn't make it out of the 1st rd Ray Allen, Great, great shooter, big baby. Nash, Great, great shooter and great, great passer. Sold out to the Lakers Kidd, great passer, best court vision I've ever seen, unbelievably instinctive rebounder, Big ego that he doesn't like to show to the public, very big liar to the media Grant Hill, humble, talented a whole lotta heart Deke, shotblocking, rebounding cookie monster. Not really a winner. Lebron could wind up being the greatest player ever, and he will always be remembered for 'The Decision'. |

Re: What will these guys be remembered as?
I actually completely agree with you, he'll go down as a bit of a hired gun who was the best three-point shooter to date. Especially assuming that he wins one or more championships in Miami before retiring. He did too much in Milwaukee and Seattle to just write those two places off, was never really a "core" guy emotionally to the C's(although he was as a talent), and he'll be a supporting character in Miami(albeit the best supporting guy). I don't think he really gets remembered as a member of any one franchise.

Hey way to further prove your intelligence there champ! See my post in the other thread if you'd like to become a bit more self-aware.
Also, way to advance the conversation with your initial post. But if it truly was humor you were after, yeah you really had this thread cracking up! Last edited by 36 Karat; 10-25-2012 at 01:56 PM. |

Mutombo's a tough one. In 10 years if someone throws out the name "Dikembe Mutombo", this will be the first image that will come to mind:
![]() You could also argue his best years were in Atlanta and his one deep playoff run was in Philadelphia. Spent 4+ years in Houston too. |

Re: What will these guys be remembered as?
Shaq - One of the greatest centers ever
Garnett - A man who made it his mission to get a ring. McGrady - COuld've been Ray Allen - A dickhead, I don't think he is but he will be remember for that. Oh and a great 3 pointer Steve Nash - The Assist Kid Jason Kidd - Class and Style over the young energetic kids. Grant Hill - Could've been Dikembe Mutumbo - for doing this to any one he wanted to

Re: What will these guys be remembered as?
Shaq - Lakers
Kevin Garnett - First thing that will come to mind will be Celtics because of the ring (and because of Celtics/Lakers), but nobody will forget him as a Timberwolf. Tracy Mcgrady - Magic Ray Allen - Seattle probably, but like others have said, I'll mostly remember him as being one of the best 3-point shooters I've ever seen. Steve Nash - Suns Jason Kidd - Nets Grant Hill - Pistons Dikembe Mutumbo - Hawks/76ers, but mostly as the finger waving, shot blocking defensive player of the year that he was.

Re: What will these guys be remembered as?
They'll be most remembered for where they won the most. That was an easy thread. Now on to how they'll be remembered.....
Kidd should be remembered for never learning how to shoot but somehow has the second most 3pters made and most 3ptrs taken among active players/all time. Nash will be remembered as the best white point guard of all time. (no one likes stockton anyways) KG is basically a very good pf but not in the top 5 so he's forgettable. Shaq was a game changer. Top 3 centers of all time. I've already forgotten about Mcgrady and Carter.
