Whether or not Howard has been petulant does not justify the pettiness that Shaq displays. He should not even look at Howard as worthy of such treatment tbh, because Howard is not near the level of player he was historically and this nonsense makes it looks like he is jealous of him.

He probably can not afford to quit, unless he's drastically changed his lifestyle. I don't remember exactly what TNT pays him, but it's a pretty nice sum and from what you read it seems likely that he needs the money.

Actually his post game looked much improved throughout the preseason as well.
