Re: Today's Game Discussion [ESPN Double-Header: MEM @ OKC | MIA @ LAC - 11/14/12]
Yeh, he takes a long time to assert the shot, jumps all the way up, and doesn't shoot until after he's peaked and he's coming down. It has to be a catch and shoot thing.

Everyone is going to let Griffin take that shot, so it doesn't matter what it looks like or how slow it is. They let Duncan have it and he's been doing it forever. If an athletic big man can hit that shot you just about have to let him have it

No, teams don't just "let" Tim Duncan have that shot. And Blake Griffin's speed of release is very much going to affect the reliability of his shot, and conversely how teams defend it.

Chris Paul with a sick stretch himself.. three straight possessions, back-to-back three's (first of which deeeep) and a trip to the line

Clippers laid 33 on the Heat in the third, which usually doesn't fare well for them in the fourth, but we'll see. Heat losing their cool a bit at the end of the 3rd, Wade with the stupid T.

Part of me wants to see another Ray Allen winner.
Speaking of which, you get the gist from watching him and Crawford match up in this game that Jamal's taking his role, and perhaps his prospects for the 6th Man Award, quite personally. |

Bledsoe with the nice follow on his own miss...Heat caught flat-footed on defense.

That was good hustle by Bledsoe there to score after missing his own shot. Seems like the Clippers are playing harder while keeping the pressure. Still expect Miami to come back though.

What happened to Miami's ball movement? Was there in the 1st qtr, now they're just standing around
