Do you think this year Heat are at the top 30 teams in the history?

Re: Top 10 teams in the nba history.
at the 1971-72 Lakers in 4th!Most opinion pieces of this type put the 1966-67 76ers 1st and the 1971-72 Lakers 2nd, or vice-versa. Never seen a piece that puts Boston up there, or New York for that matter. Terrible article.

Ahh, the '71 Lakers. Best known for their record-setting consecutive win streak of 33 games, snapped by -- that's right:

To be fair, it's pretty small print. I didn't notice it myself until you pointed it out.
But yeah, poorly formatted article, if anything. They need to put the whole chronological bit near the title. |

Re: Top 10 teams in the nba history.
The bucks championship team with kareem, oscar and dandridge is one if the most underrated teams ever. Won 60+ games blew through the playoffs winning by over 15 ppg, swept the finals. Featured two of the best players ever. Yet always overlooked because they atent a large market franchise

Re: Top 10 teams in the nba history.
very good team but it's a little misleading to suggest that they had two of the best players ever, technically it's true but Oscar was 32 and in decline, certainly not the triple double machine of 7 or 8 years prior

I remember the game, knew it was going to come to an end sooner or later. For sure against the defending champs. Something else you won't know firsthand...the Bucks gave the Lakers all they had in the WCF. I remember getting blown out of the two games the Bucks won and barely winning two of the four in that series...however, wrapping it up on Milwaukee's floor was special.

Gotta love YouTube. I've been catching a lot of archives of these teams from decades past, problem is, it seems plenty of classic games simply aren't available, or were never properly archived in the first place. Tis a shame. |
