Re: 5 years from today the best PG will be?
He plays nothing like CP3. Lillard is a quick striker and more explosive. Cp3 is a lot more methodical.
I actually feel like that would be my pick too, and I'm a Rubio homer. Look at that list, everyone but maybe Kyrie Irving was drafted onto a team with either a superstar front court teammate, solid management or a great coach. Wall had Gilbert and Blatche in the lockerroom and is on, what, his 3rd coach in 3 years?

Im actually diagusted that rubio was in the poll and not brandon jennings ( not that i think either will be close to the best pg 5 years from now) as for the question at hand i think there is a very good chance its still chris paul

Re: 5 years from today the best PG will be?
I am pretty amazed that Wall is not better tbh. The guy was one of the most hyped players ever, been hearing about him like he was a lock HOF player since he was in grade school. He has all of the physical tools, but he just hasn't shown me that he can be a great player so far. He has a ton of holes in his game at this point.

Re: 5 years from today the best PG will be?
Coaching and teammates make a huge difference. Have Wall get swapped to the Celtics on draft night for Rondo; and learning from Doc, KG, and Pierce probably has him a perennial all-star already. Hell, Andray Blatche has turned into a valuable backup center just by getting out of Washington and onto a team stocked purely with vets and blue-collar types.

But I doubt CP3 will have his prime in his 30's like Nash did. Seems like CP3 his at his best right now. I picked Damion Lill...He's having one hell of a rookie season so far, better than Irving. and is such a nice shooter.

Either way, I see him as a CP3 2.0 as in he is a legit pass first PG but is a legit offensive threat as well so you have to respect his O and not just look to kill the pass. Where as I see Rose and Kyrie more as a score first PG, although they dish out very well as well. Just not like CP3. |

I think Kyrie is a great passing guard. Only the Cadavaliers are short of guys for him to pass it to.

Re: 5 years from today the best PG will be?
I like Kyrie, but Rose, Paul, Westbrook and Rondo could still be doing their thing in 5 years.
I didn't go with Wall. I think the guy has done too little, and I don't like when people just point the finger at the system a player is in all the time.
