Re: Today's Game Discussion [11/28/12]
Was at the Celtics game. I swear not even two minutes before that went down I told the guy next to me that there was gonna be a fight in this game. I was in the nosebleeds on the other side of the court though so all I saw was a big pile.
After the game I was gonna get a green-on-green Garnett jersey, until I found out they cost 90 ****ING DOLLARS. No thanks. |

About right, that's along the lines of what I figured would happen. As an afterthought, can we all stop pretending that shoving a much bigger player after a hard foul is the worst thing that's ever happened on a basketball court?

Re: Today's Game Discussion [11/28/12]
Who said it was? The question is was it anywhere near an appropriate response? Humphries accidentally tapped Garnett in the face, and Rondo chose an action that would obviously incite a mini-riot. After he and Rivers tried to write off Rajon's clothesline throwdown on Wade on opening night as just a regular foul, I don't understand how what Humphries did was an offense worthy of such a retaliation. Oh, I do understand. He's a hypocritical, petulant bitch.
NOTE TO EVERYONE: I'm aware Wade can be a bitch at times, too. Thanks in advance. Nowhere near Rondo-levels, though. |

B)Wade's much more dangerous than Rondo's ever been. Between his blatant takedown that dislocated Rondo's elbow, breaking Kobe's nose in the all-star game, and the hockey check on a sprinting Pacers player (Collison?), Wade's been much worse than Rondo when it comes the things that were uncalled for, so don't open that can of worms. |
