Worst win in NBA history. This Heat team would play 5 boy scouts close before pulling away with 1:22 left.

Re: Today's Game Discussion [TNT Double-Header: SAS @ MIA | DEN @ GSW - 11/29/12]
Funny, but I'd have to think the actual reason is indifference. No idea how we blew out PHX, but the blowout of Brooklyn was clearly a "oh, you want to be in our class"-type of effort. They're back in Miami on Saturday, so now that that statement has been made, might be tough to get up again for them.
Upon second thought, we blew out PHX because everyone was talking about how epically-awful our D had been to start the season, and they wanted to prove otherwise. |

Popovich is awesome. The league tried to screw his guys with that schedule, and he's like '**** this bullshit'.

The Twitter nation actually informed me there are other teams with worse stretches. Still, I don't have a problem with it. His guys are old (Danny Green, though?) and he can do what he wants with his roster.

George Karl has been experimenting with Gallo at the 4/5 a lot this season and gotten positive results, they would probably move him to the 4 permanently if they were comfortable with Faried guarding centers.

Re: Today's Game Discussion [TNT Double-Header: SAS @ MIA | DEN @ GSW - 11/29/12]
If I'm a Spurs fan living in the Miami area and I'd bought tickets over the summer to tonight's game so I could see Blackjack 21, Tony Parker, and Manu, I'd feel somewhat robbed. So I see that side of it. However, Stern is always going too far trying to throw his little penis of punishment around the league. Fool sit yo ass down..

Stern apologizing to the fans was understandable, but throwing his weight around and all this other nonsense was uncalled for. Timmy and Manu being rested makes sense because they're a bit old, but I didn't understand resting the other two unless they have injuries that I haven't been paying attention to.

Twitter's having a ball with the substantial sanctions thing.
What I don't understand is why Popovich didn't just say they all have bum ankles or caught the flu or something. |

Re: Today's Game Discussion [TNT Double-Header: SAS @ MIA | DEN @ GSW - 11/29/12]
Shaq just tried to make a funny joke with "My new nickname for David Lee is WCW (White Chris Webber)," and EJ just blasted him out of the water with "I thought Darko was." Even when Shaq is kind of funny he gets outshined by Ernie frickin' Johnson.
How did Iggy miss that FT that badly? C'mon, man. |

Re: Today's Game Discussion [TNT Double-Header: SAS @ MIA | DEN @ GSW - 11/29/12]
I really don't think Heat are toying with teams purposely. I'm actually worried about their mental toughness and heart. This is not the 82-10 Bulls, we don't feel like they are on a mission. I'm afraid to see another 07 Heat.
They don'T seem to care enough and that worries me. I don't like that. |
