Not too many teams play 92 games a season....

They don'T seem to care enough and that worries me. I don't like that.
It's November and 11-3 (9-0 in clutch time).

Chill.

I will say that the Ray signing looks substantially better after the first 14 games. And it looked like a good deal to begin with,

Allen's signing's masking Wade's seemingly declining play as of late.

72-10, typo.

It's not just about the record, it is about their play. Miami are not playing well. They have no heart right now. I don't want them to become complacent.

Chump change for an organization.

A lack of mental toughness would mean they wouldn't be 9-0 in "clutch" situations. But yes, there's a fine line between forging resilience and positively reinforcing bad habits, and I'm not sure which side they're on.

So Stern sets the price ; if you're too scared to play Miami, you can pay a quarter milli and get out of it!

Nah but seriously the fine is excessive BUT is that really a road that you want to start headin down...where contenders sit out their stats when they play the best teams to get them some rest because it's likely to play very little difference in playoff seeding?

Re: Today's Game Discussion [TNT Double-Header: SAS @ MIA | DEN @ GSW - 11/29/12]

It's true, but I think most contenders would take a quarter-mill fine to do what they feel is best for their team in the macro.

Re: Today's Game Discussion [TNT Double-Header: SAS @ MIA | DEN @ GSW - 11/29/12]

Dwayne Wade donated his game salary to Sandee victims and that was $210,000. So.... the fine is literally the salary for one game for Duncan and Parker, lets not put this fine into 99% terms

Re: Today's Game Discussion [TNT Double-Header: SAS @ MIA | DEN @ GSW - 11/29/12]

Where's his fine for allowing a league setup that consistently has half of the league at the bottom of the barrel pushing out a garbage product?

Oo they care cause if they didnt, they wouldnt be showing up late in the 4th quarter. Too me the heat wasnt motivated at all cause there was no duncan, manu, parker. It happens. And for those that is defending pop, i think u guys need to think better cause have doc ever bench pierce, kg, allen before? The reason i mention this cause pierce, kg, allen together are older then duncan, manu, parker. Kobe is 34 but u guys dont see him resting. If kidd wasnt injured, i guarantee he wouldnt be resting. I think its bad what pop did. If pop did this in a very late season like 8 or 5 games left in the regular season then nobody wouldnt be complaining. But in the early season? It was bad.
