Huh? thats not even close to what pop did in which this joke is lame no offense. I'm happy stern fined the spurs for their action well mainely cause of pop. Have u ever see doc do that with kg, pierce, allen in early season?

Stern's a bully who needs to retire. And right now.

He did it because Pop showed him up. Not because he took the players out. Stern slithered his way out of his idiotic rage the night before by weakly stating all Pop had to do was notify the league and the Heat.

Give me a ****ing break. The guy really does need to go now.

He did it in which imo was the right way and i'll tell you why, i understand what pop is coming from but the fans pay their hard earn money to see stars not scrubs. Who u think the fans in miami wanted to see? Lebron's heat vs Duncans Spurs? Or Lebron's heat vs splitter's spurs? You see what i'm getting at? Pop basically rob the fans. Hell isnt the tickets vs the spurs in miami is the highest price so far this season? If so then pop basically stole the fans money. What happen to nba cares?

NBA Cares is about giving to the community through charity work. That has nothing to do with anything.

Secondly, Stern has now made it known that he doesn't care about legitimate competition and allowing the teams to run themselves. Through the Hornets fiasco last year and this, it's obvious Stern has overstepped his boundaries. He's essentially telling teams they can't run themselves and that he knows better. At what point does it stop? And why does he fine the Spurs (who did this in the past), and not teams who try to improve their lottery chances by tanking? Pop was doing what he felt was in the best interest of his team.

The reference to tanking has nothing to do with this. If teams sit players who can play, they at least present the illusion of an injury. This was Pop sending home four players early who were healthy, the most egregious of which being Green.

I'm not defending Stern. If Pop did this in Orlando and sent the four to Miami early to rest, Stern wouldn't bat an eye.
