Noticed no one had started a thread on the topic of the altercation in Boston the other night, and Rondo's subsequent suspension.

Anyone care to weigh in on it now?

didnt look like much a foul to me and Rondo over-reacted and at first KG stood back and held his skirts up so they wouldnt get muddy and then he realized he was on TV

It wasn't even a hard foul from Humphries.

Rondo reacted purely out of frustration. The Celtics were getting dominated and the Nets were being very physical and were pushing them around. Rondo just lost his cool.

I think a 2 game suspension was proper.

Kind of funny that Cousins got suspended two games for a verbal altercation and Rondo gets the same for that.

Am I the only one who NEVER wants to see a player get suspended for fighting another player as long as it wasn't a complete sucker punch?

Its bullshit that you can get a 1 game suspension for flopping while if you cause a fight that spills over into the stands you only get 2 games.

Not to mention the leaving the bench scenario in the Suns/Spurs years back that landed them 1 game bans.

Should have been more for Rondo.

Did you catch his subtle trip on Humphries? He tripped Humphries behind in classic Garnett manly fighting style.

And yeah, didn't think there was much in the foul that warranted Rondo's reaction. But we all know Rondo is a tosser, so who cares.
