I think you move Pau regardless of what happens with Howard. This squad is done. The rest of this season will be people trying to talk themselves into something else.

In regard to the subject at hand, Lakers would be foolish to move Pau before they know what Howard is going to do in the off-season. So unless they can get Kevin Love for Pau, I don't see him going anywhere.

As a Celtics fan, let me give you some advice: Nothing matters until March. The C's opened up strong in '09 and '11 and things wound up falling apart, and they looked dead in the water in '10 and '12, when they wound up seriously contending for rings. Pick a young guy on a different team you'd like to see make individual strides this season and follow him for a few weeks. I have Kemba and the Bobcats. It makes early season apathy by veteran teams much less annoying.

Nash's absence? Lack of D down the stretch? Is Jimmy Buss all to blame for this? Don't matter to me. Totally. I've been watching other games a lot more this season. It helps seeing that the Heat don't care (LeBron flung up the two FT's he missed late as if he had somewhere to be in 12 seconds), and knowing I'd be insane to care more than them.
