Guy has been steadily getting worse ever since teaming with LeBron. A shell of the guy who dominated the mavs and got finals MVP.

Hes not who he used to be, that's for sure. If he can get hot in the playoffs they're still the favorite, but if it comes down to where teams can just double Lebron and leave 1 guy on Wade and he's struggling, they're going to run into a lot of trouble.

Could have bumped it last year.

Saying "Wade's playing through an injury right now..... but when he's fully healed look out!" is getting old. Expecting him to be any healthier months from now is a little perplexing. With his injury history and age, if anything he'll be more banged up as the season wears on.

Fair enough. I really wasn't trying to say that I think he's returning to prime Wade. He's got mileage and nagging injuries - he's probably passed that point in his career ; this may very well be a transition period for him that all great players have to go through at some point.

He's still a great second option and most teams would rather have him at SG then whoever they currently have. So no, Wade does not "Suck now"

Agreed. Wade doesn't "suck" by any means. And if he's your second option you're laughing. Ever since that game against the Pacers in the playoffs last year where he got absolutely shut down, it looks like hes either having a time machine game where he is destroying everyone, or he's having a terrible game where the next day he starts leaking to the media that he's injured and that's why he isn't playing well.

If he goes into the post season hot, or even average, the Heat have a good shot. If 1 of every 2 or 3 games he looks lost and can't put it together like he has at time since last years playoffs, I don't like Miami's chances one bit.

They should baby him the way that Pop babies his old guys. Tell Stern to mind his own ****ing business too. They don't really need him that badly in the regular season, although that might cost them home court if the Knicks keep hitting shots.

Agree and disagree. They should baby him, but he should still have to show up to games. Not send him home early on road trips and have him not even there.

I think he meant more in line with the way Ginobilli and Duncan play less than 30 minutes a game.

The only time anything like this has happened over these last couple of years is when it came out after the Pacers stinker that he had drained his knee prior. Everything else has been something that we've seen during a game (ankle turn, foot stepped on, etc.). Closest thing was when he decided to play against LAC an hour after getting an MRI, and then said after the game he re-aggravated the foot.

I don't like being a Wade apologist, but I can't help but correct incorrect information. He's pissed me the hell off these last couple of seasons, because when he's having an off night and clearly doesn't have his explosiveness, he just keeps jacking up stupid jumpers or ugly "HE HIT ME!" push shots without letting a teammate touch it. That's never been his game, even during his best jumpshooting season. He's recently decided to abandon one of the best parts of his game: passing. Another great part of his game, his efficiency, is vanishing because of his new-found awful shot selection. It's sad when Ray Allen is outplaying him and allowing the team to play smoother, but it's happened too often this season.
