Kevin Love unhappy??

I don't really doubt that OKC would give up Ibaka and the pick for him, and it's the best Minny's going to get, I'm just leery about having to include Martin because he's been so solid for them. If there's a way for them to also get a bench guy that can give them 10-12 a night I'd be sold.

In the meantime, I'll just wait for the Timberwolves to get an overpaid role player and two picks in the twenties in 2015.

Martin should also be on a slimmer contract with OKC next season which should up his value to the team. The trade has worked out quite well for OKC.

Can we stop acting like these fantasy trades are possibilities? I think OKC's gotten their core signed long term now and won't look to make any deals for this season at least.

The Wolves will probably make the playoffs the next 3 seasons, but unless they do something great with Williams or the West gets weaker it's hard to picture them being any better than those Williams-Kirilenko-Boozer-Okur Jazz. Which is great for a town like Minnesota and better than the KG era.

Minny is only going to trade for a white guy. Gortat is that white guy plus picks. Boom. Done. No one can tell me that Kahn wouldn't go for Gortat + picks for Love.


EDIT: As for the quality of the Wolves roster. You guys have got to be joking with this. They stink outside of Love and Rubio. Pekovic is a serviceable NBA player, but not anywhere near all star. Especially in this Western Conference, the Wolves just don't have enough talent to even make the playoffs.

Roy and Budinger are injured, probably for the rest of the season. Roy was shooting at a blistering 30% from the field before the injury though. Barea still is a crappy bench player who got overpaid, Ridnour is still Ridnour (if you see him play you'd understand) and Kirilenko has actually come back to the states with a decent game. Too bad his talents are wasted.

PS Love is the most overrated superstar in the league. Wolves will be better off if they trade him for a couple of young talents from a lotto bound team. Maybe trade him for an unprotected first because he won't lead a team anywhere without athletic players around him (re: talented)

Last summer was about the talent around Love, but Pekovic and Rubio both wound up being much better than was expected and injuries were the only reason they didn't make the playoffs last year. They improved a bit more this past summer, and now Love's dropped all pretense and is making it clear he's going to pout his way out of town in two years because he didn't get the right max contract.

Early wins mean nothing. They got no scoring, no shot creators. Love's at 20 PPG right now, and the 2nd highest scorer is 13 PPG. Whoopdee ****ing doo. Every team has higher scoring than that.

Are you kidding? Pekovic is white Marcin Gortat. Kriilenko is a role player. Budinger is like 10 PPG. RIP Roy's career, twice now. Barea's a 6th man, and Ridnour ain't shit. Matter of fact Ridnour might be the worst starting PG in the league.

Who plays hero ball? Rubio's got no shot, so who? Barea? Ridnour? FOH. TWolves are terrible.

No, KG stayed gangsta the whole time. He never quit on his team. Gotta respect that. They traded him because they wasted his talents and were looking to rebuild without him.
